Bert de Ruiter

Bert de Ruiter is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in risk management and banking. Currently fulfilling roles as Controller at WoonInvest and 3B Wonen, Bert is responsible for the Risk & Control framework and independent oversight towards management and the supervisory board. Previously, as Risk Controller at Woonstad Rotterdam, Bert implemented and enhanced risk control frameworks. Bert founded and managed Hedgerley Financial Management Ltd, providing consultancy and change management services to the banking industry. Notably, Bert served as CEO of Qatar Islamic Bank (UK) plc, managing private banking services and previous roles included senior leadership positions at Lloyds Banking Group. Bert holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hogeschool voor Economische Studies Rotterdam and furthered education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
