Shelonda Townsend

Shelonda Townsend, MSW, LCSW-C, currently serves as a School Social Worker for Worcester County Public Schools since October 2022. Prior to this role, Shelonda worked as a Licensed Mental Health Professional at Therapeutic Interventions, Inc. from February 2016 to September 2021, where responsibilities included managing, leading, and training over 20 new staff members, along with providing comprehensive case management services that entailed creating treatment plans and facilitating connections to resources for clients and families, leading to improved health outcomes. Shelonda holds a Master of Social Work from the University of New England, earned in May 2017, and a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, obtained in May 2011.
