The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing communication and coordination for the overall convocation. This individual ensures seamless communication with attendees, department heads, and guest preachers, serving as the central point of contact for all event-related information. Reporting directly to the Presiding Prelate. The Operations Director works closely with the Presiding Prelate and the Logistics Director to develop and finalize the Run of Show, ensuring the event runs smoothly. The Operations Director and Logistics Director will also work closely with the venue to ensure all necessary components are provided.
The Operations Director collaborates with department heads to synchronize efforts across all operational areas, maintaining alignment with the convocation’s vision and goals. They are also the primary liaison for guest preachers, managing communication, schedules, and needs to ensure a professional and successful experience. This includes handling all arrangements for guest speakers, such as travel accommodations and itineraries. The Operations Director will coordinate travel logistics with the Travel Director and ensure all financial information related to speakers is accurately forwarded to the Director of Finance for proper processing and record-keeping.
