Prof. Dr. Marcus Fischer

Prof. Dr. Marcus Fischer currently serves as a Professor of Enterprise Architecture Management and Business Information Systems at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences since March 2023, focusing on teaching and research in Enterprise Architecture Management, Business Process Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning. Additionally, since April 2023, Marcus Fischer holds the position of Managing Director at Work Safe Tec GmbH, a software company specializing in workplace safety digitization, with its primary product, tagIDeasy, facilitating inventory management and legal compliance. Previously, Marcus Fischer was the Founder and Managing Director of InnoBrain GmbH from January 2021 to March 2023, worked as an Inhouse Consultant at Schwarz Dienstleistungen in early 2019, and conducted PhD research at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from May 2015 to December 2018. Marcus Fischer obtained a PhD in Information Technology and a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, along with prior education at Normandale Community College.
