Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Workable

Christos Varytimidis has a significant amount of work experience in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Christos started their career as a Research Assistant at the National Technical University of Athens in 2008 and worked on multiple EU funded projects. Christos eventually became a full-time Researcher and worked there until 2017.

In 2015, Christos joined Entefy Inc. as a Machine Learning & AI Engineer, where they focused on designing and implementing an AI platform. Christos utilized deep learning techniques for image and video analysis and natural language processing for extracting information from various data sources.

In 2017, Christos worked at AISERA as a Senior Data Scientist. During their time there, they developed and integrated state-of-the-art algorithms using natural language processing, deep learning, and other machine learning approaches. Christos was also responsible for delivering fully integrated applications to production systems.

In 2017, Christos also briefly worked at CRAFT as a Computer Vision Engineer, where they designed and implemented deep learning algorithms for style transfer, semantic image segmentation, and super-pixel segmentation in a real-time application.

Currently, Christos is working at Workable as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, starting from 2019. Further details about their role and responsibilities are not provided.

Christos Varytimidis earned a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens from 2002 to 2008. Christos then completed their PhD in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Computer Vision and Image Processing, also at the National Technical University of Athens from 2008 to 2016.
