Renu Varshneya

Renu Varshneya is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software development engineering, particularly within financial planning, analytics, and database systems. Currently serving as Sr. Director at Workday, Renu leads the development of Compute Engine software for Adaptive Planning and previously directed global engineering for the Analytics Platform. Prior roles at Teradata included positions as Sr. Director for Advanced Analytics, where a team of over 100 was managed to advance the Vantage analytics platform, and Director of R&D for Aster Database. Renu also held management roles at Hewlett Packard and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where contributions included launching Trafodion as an Apache open source product and developing high-quality SQL optimizers. Renu's academic background features a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University and advanced degrees in Computer Science and Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
