Deanna Herrera

Deanna Herrera, MBA, currently serves as the Controller at San José - Evergreen Community College District, where responsibilities include budgeting district funds and coordinating with auditors to ensure fiscal integrity. Previously, Deanna held the position of Deputy Director - Fiscal for the County of San Joaquin, overseeing a $400M budget and managing audits related to Health Care Services. An extensive career at San Jose City College included roles such as Director of College Fiscal Services and Business Services Supervisor, where Deanna managed multi-million dollar budgets and supervised various financial operations. Deanna holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Monterey Bay, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from San Jose City College.
