Lacy Douglas, CPC has over 18 years of experience in communications, events, and marketing. Lacey served as the Communications & Events Director at Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, where they were responsible for developing strategic communication strategies, managing the communications team, and planning and executing meetings and events. Lacy also served as the Communications & Events Unit Director at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as the Communications and Events Manager, where they organized and coordinated special events, workshops, and trade show booths, and managed the development and distribution of promotional materials. Before joining Workforce Solutions, Lacy worked at The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce as the Assistant Vice President of Membership/Investor Relations, where they oversaw marketing campaigns and managed board and executive committee meetings. Lacy has a strong background in public perception, crisis management, and strategic communication planning.

Lacey Douglas, CPC, holds an educational background focused on Business Administration and Management. Lacey obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of the Incarnate Word, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to their MBA, Lacey also completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management at the same university, graduating between 1998 and 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Lacey Douglas has acquired the designation of Certified Public Communicator (CPC) from Texas Christian University. This certification was obtained in July 2019.
