Nathan Walts

Nathan Walts has an extensive work experience history. Nathan is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at WorkForge since October 2021. Nathan also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at William Jewell College, starting from January 2022. In the past, Nathan has worked as a Venture Capital Mentor at Techstars from January 2020 until September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President in various departments including Product, Strategy, Analytics, and Sales at Ascend Learning, starting from November 2009 until September 2021. Before joining Ascend Learning, Nathan worked at Daimler Chrysler as a Manager in Operations, Finance, and Sales from July 2001 to October 2009.

Nathan Walts pursued their education in a variety of fields. Nathan attended Harvard University from 2012 to 2015, where they completed an Executive Education Program in Strategic Management. In 2014 to 2015, they studied Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt at Washburn University, focusing on Project Management. From 2007 to 2010, Nathan Walts earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Phoenix, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. In 2002 to 2004, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Baker University. Nathan Walts began their undergraduate education at The University of Kansas from 1994 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree with a field of study in Psychology. In addition to their formal education, Nathan Walts obtained various certifications in different areas, including product management, agile methodology, and AI-first product leadership.
