Brendan Carroll

Brendan Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Brendan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Workhuman since June 2022. Prior to that, Brendan worked at Guidewire Software where they held multiple roles, including L1 Team Lead for Digital from March 2020 to May 2022, Software Engineer for Digital from March 2018 to March 2020, and Java Consultant from June 2016 to March 2018.

In addition to their experience at Guidewire Software, Brendan also worked as a Configuration Consultant at Kentucky Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company from May 2017 to March 2018, and at The Co-operators from August 2016 to April 2017.

Brendan's earlier experience includes working as a Student at National University of Ireland Maynooth from September 2011 to May 2016, as an Associate Software Engineer at AOL from February 2014 to August 2015, and as a Computer Technician at JM Computer Services from April 2010 to May 2013.

Brendan Carroll received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Maynooth University, where they attended from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Ardscoil na Trionoide, Athy, from 2005 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Brendan also obtained certifications in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn in August 2020, as well as professional certifications in Guidewire InsuranceSuite 8.0 Integration and Guidewire PolicyCenter 8.0 Professional Configuration from Guidewire Software in July and June 2016 respectively.
