Monika Hajkova

Monika Hajkova's work experience begins in 2016 as a Software Engineering Intern at IBM, where they developed Python automation scripts and worked with Ansible logs and D3 for online surveys. In 2017, they became a Graduate Software Engineer at Johnson Controls, completing training and improving test coverage. Monika later became a Software Engineer, working on the Connected Converged Security project and leading a patent wall initiative. Monika also mentored junior developers and attended a workshop on Microservices. In 2022, Monika worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Altada Technology Solutions, developing a React Dashboard and integrating it with backend API calls. Currently, they are serving as a Frontend Engineer at Workhuman.

Monika Hajkova completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Software Development from Munster Technological University between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended St. Mary's High School in Midleton, Co. Cork, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate in 2013 with subjects including Maths, English, German, Biology, Home Economics, and Art.

In addition to their formal education, Monika obtained several certifications. In 2011, they completed a Beginners Course in Chinese language and Culture from the University College Cork, Ireland (UCC). Monika also earned a Personal Finance Programme certification from the Money Advice & Budgeting Service, Ireland, and participated in the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program offered by Toastmasters International. Furthermore, Monika completed a Tourism Awareness Programme through Fáilte Ireland in March 2011.
