Neepa Patel

Neepa Patel serves as Associate General Counsel - Labor & Employment at Workiva since January 2022, where responsibilities include supporting Human Resources and cross-functional teams, enhancing global processes and policies, and advising on employment and labor relations strategies during M&A activities. Prior to Workiva, Neepa held the position of Manager & Counsel in the Employment Law Group at American Express from May 2019 to January 2022, providing strategic legal advice while managing employee-related risks. Previous experience includes serving as Associate Attorney at Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP and as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Superior Court of New Jersey. Neepa's legal foundation includes a Doctor of Law degree from Widener University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Studies and Employment Relations from Rutgers University.
