Fiona Soon, CPA

Fiona Soon, CPA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies.

Fiona began their career as an Intern (Staff Accountant) at American Standard in May 2003, where they gained foundational experience in accounting. Fiona then moved on to Ernst & Young in August 2004, starting as a Senior Auditor and later becoming an Audit Manager. During their time at Ernst & Young, Fiona performed various audit procedures, including those specific to SEC, and developed and maintained relationships with clients. Fiona also played a key role in assessing clients' internal control systems and executing testing plans for Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance.

In 2010, Fiona joined GENCO SHIPPING & TRADING as an Internal Auditor, focusing on evaluating the effectiveness of controls and reporting risk management issues. Fiona also provided recommendations for improving the organization's operations.

Currently, Fiona is working at WorkStride, where they have held various roles since July 2014. Fiona started as an Accounting Manager and was subsequently promoted to Director Of Accounting before assuming their current position as Controller in April 2022.

Fiona's work experience demonstrates their expertise in accounting, auditing, and control evaluation, making their a valuable asset to any organization.

Fiona Soon, CPA, attended Rutgers University from 2001 to 2004, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics. Prior to Rutgers University, Fiona Soon attended Sri Damai, although the duration and degree obtained from this institution are unknown.
