Amy O'Connor has worked for a number of companies since 2015. Amy began their career as a Deli Manager and Shop Assistant at CGC Daybreak in Dublin Hill. In 2016, they worked as a Pharmacist and Intern Pharmacist at Walsh's Pharmacy Dillon's Cross. In 2017, they worked as a Quality Assurance Intern at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., a Pharmacy Final Year Project at Gilead Sciences, and a Brand Ambassador for Littlewoods Ireland. In 2018, they worked as a Photographic Assistant at Eddie Hennessey Photography and a Locum Pharmacist at both Pharmaconex - Pharmacy Recruitment & Locum Provision and Clarity Locums Ireland - Pharmacy and Primary Care Recruitment Specialists. In 2019, they continued to work as a Locum Pharmacist at Clarity Locums Ireland and in 2020 they began working as a Project Manager and Customer Experience Manager at Workvivo. In 2021, they began working as an Athlete at WHOOP.
Amy O'Connor has a diverse educational background. Amy attended St. Vincent's Secondary School from 2008 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy - BPharm from University College Cork through the Quercus Talented Students Program. Amy then went on to earn a Masters in Pharmacy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2019. In 2020 and 2021, they are completing a Jim Madden Leadership Programme at Maynooth University and a Diploma in Business Strategy & Entrepreneurship at Longford International College. Additionally, O'Connor holds certifications from the Football Association of Ireland, including a Youth Certificate Coaching Badge (2014), a Kick Start 2 Coaching Badge (2013), and a Kick Start 1 Coaching Badge (2012).
