Conor Roche has worked in the technology industry since 2005. Conor began as a Sales Assistant at O'Mahony's Centra Mallow in 2005. In 2011, they were a Quality Assurance Intern at Oracle, where they created multiple Java applications to assist in the automated testing of Oracle's internal translation tools. From 2012-2013, they were a Demonstrator at University College Cork, Ireland (UCC), tutoring and assisting groups of up to 50 students in assignments and lab work for a second year module involving MySQL and MyPHP Admin. From 2013-2016, they worked at Dell EMC, first as an Automation Engineer for Data Services and then as an Associate Software Engineer for Solutions Enabler. In 2016, they joined CoreHR as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where they migrated all elements of the CoreHR codebase from Subversion to git, while keeping over 5 years of history. Conor also defined best practice for usage of git and its branching strategy and created the necessary documentation and training collateral for developers. Conor also held roles as a Senior QA Automation Engineer and Minor Release Process Owner. In 2021, they joined Workvivo as a DevOps Engineer.
Conor Roche attended University College Cork from 2008 to 2013 and earned a BSc in Computer Science.
