Kush Kaur is an emerging leader dedicated to civil rights and youth advocacy, currently serving as a Digital Communications Intern for the Colin Allred for Senate campaign. As the South Regional Chair for the Sikh American National Youth Council, Kush fosters unity among Sikh American youth, and through various internships at the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund, Kush has developed strong leadership skills. In addition to involvement with the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth and YMCA initiatives, Kush has been recognized as a Y-USA National Changemaker and a participant in Breakthrough T1D’s National Clinical Trial Participant Advisory Council, advocating for those affected by Type 1 Diabetes. Kush's entrepreneurial spirit is evident in co-founding the nonprofit sarbat, which focuses on bridging the digital divide. Educationally, Kush is pursuing an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree at Collin College, following a strong academic foundation at Liberty High School and Imagine International Academy of North Texas.
