Stephen Lackey serves as a Board Member and Treasurer for the World Affairs Councils of America since July 2022 and as an Adjunct Professor teaching Global Business for Chatham University's MBA program since 2019. Lackey holds the position of Board Chair at the Cooper-Siegel Community Library and previously contributed as a Board Member for the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh from January 2019 to January 2022. A seasoned professional in the finance sector, Lackey worked at BNY Mellon from February 2002 to February 2018, holding multiple roles including Vice Chairman of BNY Mellon Pennsylvania and Chairman of Asia Pacific. Additional board experience includes serving as Vice Chairman of the Board for the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong in 2016 and as a member of the Board of Directors at Wing Hang Bank from July 2011 to August 2014. Lackey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Latin American Studies, and Economics from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
