Khalid Shahin is an accomplished aquatic veterinarian with extensive experience in aquatic animal diseases and diagnostics. Currently, Khalid serves as the Head of Diagnostics at PHARMAQ Analytiq AS and holds the position of Researcher (Assistant Professor) at the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries. Khalid is also recognized as a Certified Aquatic Veterinarian with the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association. With a PhD focused on developing control strategies for Francisella noatunensis subsp. orientalis in Nile tilapia, Khalid's academic background includes a Master of Veterinary Medicine Sciences and various courses from prestigious institutions. Khalid has contributed to the field through multiple research roles, including postdoctoral positions at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization.
