Craig Hunter

Craig Hunter is a distinguished leader in the field of sports management and governance, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Technical Swimming Committee at World Aquatics since August 2017, with prior roles as Vice Chairman and member. As a Founding Director of VERSEC Limited since March 1998, Craig has established an award-winning consultancy specializing in corporate governance and sports leadership. Craig also holds the position of Chairman of the Technical Swimming Committee for European Aquatics and serves as a Non Executive Director for The Odyssey Cinema St Albans Limited. Previously, Craig was a Company Secretarial Consultant for Sodexo, a Non Executive Director for the English Institute of Sport, and a Director for British Swimming. Notable roles also include serving as Chef de Mission for both the British Paralympic Association and Commonwealth Games England. Craig Hunter graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hons in Business Studies with law from Sheffield Hallam University and completed education at Hitchin Boys Grammar School.
