Andre Pereira

Andre Pereira is an accomplished legal scholar and practitioner with extensive experience in medical law and bioethics. Currently serving as Vice-President and Counselor at the Conselho Nacional de Ética para as Ciências da Vida, Andre Pereira actively contributes to ethical reflections on scientific advancements. Additionally, Andre Pereira holds counselor positions at the Conselho Geral da Universidade de Coimbra and the Universidade de Coimbra, focusing on education and research policies. As Director of the Centro de Direito Biomédico, Treasurer and Governor of the World Association for Medical Law, and Professor at the Summer School on Medical Law and Bioethics, Andre Pereira is influential in teaching and advancing the field.
