Karolyn Salcedo has extensive experience in customs and trade law, currently serving as the Regional Development Manager for the Americas and the Caribbean at the World Customs Organization since November 2014, focusing on technical assistance and capacity building for 33 member countries. Prior to this role, Karolyn was a Technical Attaché at the Directorate General of Customs, where responsibilities included reviewing legal drafts related to trade and preparing legal opinions. Additional prior experience includes positions as a Junior Lawyer at the Advisory Centre on WTO Law and Abogados y Notaria Ulises Cabrera, as well as practicing corporate and real estate law. Karolyn holds a Master of Laws in International Economic Law and Policy from Universitat de Barcelona and a Bachelor of Laws from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.
