Joanna Bouckaert

Joanna Bouckaert has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joanna is currently working as the Lead of the Centre for Cybersecurity at the World Economic Forum since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Deloitte Switzerland, where they held the position of Manager in the Cyber Risk department from January 2021 to February 2022 and from September 2018 to December 2020. Before becoming a manager, they served as a Senior Consultant in the Cyber Risk division from September 2017 to August 2018.

Joanna also has experience in SAP Security and GRC analysis, having worked as an SAP Security and GRC Analyst at Turnkey Consulting from October 2015 to June 2017. In addition, they were briefly involved in strategic sustainability communications at Quantis International from April 2015 to June 2015.

Among their earlier experiences, they interned at Casa de La Paz in 2014, where they focused on improving relations between indigenous people and the private sector, resulting in a report on best practices for building trust. Lastly, they worked as an Accounting Assistant at Brasserie Lipp SA from September 2013 to December 2013, handling daily accounting tasks, client communication, and debtors' management.

Joanna Bouckaert pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2010, they attended the University of Geneva for sciences politiques et gouvernement. From 2011 to 2013, they studied at Université libre de Bruxelles, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences. In 2014 and 2015, they attended King's College London, focusing on Risk Analysis and obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree.

Additionally, Joanna Bouckaert has obtained several certifications in their field. In 2018, they became an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementor and Lead Auditor. In 2019, they obtained the SABSA Foundation SCF certification from The SABSA Institute and achieved PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Joanna'smost recent certification, obtained in 2020, is Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA.
