Joseph Fowler

Joseph Fowler currently serves as the Head of Art & Culture at the World Economic Forum since March 2022. Prior to this role, Joseph was a Cultural Advisor and Event Concept Developer at the Ministry of Culture from August 2021 to February 2022. Joseph's extensive background in the arts includes serving as Director of Opera, Arts & Culture, and Creative Advisor for Expo 2020 Dubai until December 2021, and as the Director of Programming & Events / Artistic Director at Dubai Opera from June 2015 to July 2018. Additional experience includes positions such as Theatre and Entertainment Director at Jumeirah Group, General Manager & Artistic Director at Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre, and Resident Director / Associate Choreographer & Director at Théâtre du Châtelet. Earlier in their career, Joseph held roles including Associate Director at Regents Park Open Air Theatre, Movement Director at La Comedie Francaise, and Director & Choreographer at Disneyland Paris.
