Martina Szabo

Head Of Knowledge Communities (academic Engagement) at World Economic Forum

Martina Szabo has an extensive work experience in the fields of knowledge communities, global event strategy and engagement, COVID action platform, business partnership management, global health strategy, and research and teaching assistance. Martina was the Head of Knowledge Communities at the World Economic Forum, where they developed and oversaw the strategy and value proposition for engaging global universities, research institutions, and think tanks in the Forum's work. Martina also led the Global Event Strategy and Engagement team and co-designed and launched the COVID Action Platform, aligning diverse initiatives and delivering public briefings. Prior to this, Martina worked as a Business Partnership Manager in the health and consumer industry at the World Economic Forum. Martina had also worked as an Associate at Rabin Martin, where they designed private sector engagement strategies for NGOs and international organizations focused on global public health. Additionally, they worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where they analyzed physician payment methods in different countries for publication.

Martina Szabo's education history includes completing an Executive Master in Global Leadership from the World Economic Forum in 2021. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in healthcare management at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
