Marwen Garbaa began their work experience in 2011 as a Project Manager at ENGIE, where they created and managed the Group's International Committee and participated in the Group's "Qatar 2022 Task Force". In 2012, they joined the French Embassy as the Energy Attaché at the Department of Economic Affairs, where they assessed the evolution of US energy markets. In 2014, they worked at TOTAL as the 2050 Scenario Planning Coordinator, analyzing game changers and structural evolutions transforming long-term energy demand. Since 2015, they have been working at the World Economic Forum, first as a Community Specialist in the Energy Utilities & Technologies Industries, and currently as the Community Lead for the Energy, Materials, and Infrastructure sector.
Marwen Garbaa obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Relations and Politics from The University of Manchester. Afterward, they pursued a Master's Degree in International Business and Corporate Strategy at Sciences Po Toulouse from 2008 to 2011.
