Michael Odermatt

Community Lead, Regional Strategies, World Economic Forum at World Economic Forum

Michael Odermatt has a diverse work experience in the non-profit and philanthropic sector. Michael is currently working as a Community Lead for Regional Strategies at the World Economic Forum since September 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Program Manager for Government Innovation at Bloomberg Philanthropies from April 2020 to September 2022. Michael also served as the Chief of Staff at 100 Resilient Cities, pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation, from December 2018 to August 2019, and as the Deputy Chief of Staff from January 2014 to December 2018.

Michael Odermatt obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Pittsburgh in the years 2007-2011. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs from 2011 to 2013, earning a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs with a focus on International Political Economy.
