Nivedita Sen's work experience includes various roles and positions in different companies.
From 2019 to the present, they have been working at the World Economic Forum as the Lead for Global Health & Healthcare Industries. Prior to this role, they worked as a Research & Analysis Specialist in the same company from July 2020 to February 2022. In January 2020 to June 2020, they served as a (Digital) Trade and Investment Analyst, focusing on cross-border data flows governance and foreign direct investments for e-commerce and the digital economy. From July 2019 to December 2019, Nivedita worked on digital trade, tax, and competition issues, including cross-border data flows, international trade policy, and corporate taxation in the digital economy.
Before joining the World Economic Forum, Nivedita worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies from February 2017 to June 2019. Nivedita also worked as a Freelance Blog Writer at Linklaters from March 2018 to March 2019.

Nivedita Sen's education history begins with their completion of the Indian School Certificate of Secondary Examination in Science at G.D. Birla Centre for Education. Nivedita then pursued further studies in the field of law, earning a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree at West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. Subsequently, Nivedita obtained a LL.M. degree specializing in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Cambridge. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in International Law at Geneva Graduate Institute, with an expected completion date in 2022.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Nivedita has obtained certifications in Project Management: Healthcare Projects from LinkedIn as well as being qualified to practice law in India. Nivedita is enrolled with the Bar Council of West Bengal, which they achieved in September 2013.
