Trevor Chueu

Trevor Chueu has extensive work experience in various roles related to media relations, public affairs, and communications. Trevor is currently the Media Relations and Public Affairs Lead at the World Economic Forum since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at FleishmanHillard South Africa as a Director from October 2020 to March 2022, an Associate Director (Africa) from January 2017 to October 2020, and an Account Director from January 2014 to December 2016. Trevor also served as an Account Director at GokoLaufer MSP from June 2012 to December 2013, and as a Public Relations Account Manager (Internal and External Communications) at McCann Worldgroup from August 2010 to June 2012. Trevor started their career as an Account Manager at MS&L South Africa from June 2006 to July 2010, and briefly worked as an Event Manager at 1485 Radio Today from April 2006 to June 2006. Trevor's early experience includes working as a Marketing Officer at Constitution Hill from May 2005 to March 2006.

Trevor Chueu completed their Bachelor of Arts (General) degree in Psychology, English, and Economics from UNISA, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Before that, they pursued a degree in Tourism Management at the University of Johannesburg from 2003 to 2005. Their coursework there included subjects such as Tourism Development, Tourism Management, Tourism Practice, Business Management, Culture, and Marketing. Prior to their university studies, Trevor attended Clapham High School in 2002, where they studied English, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Studies, and Afrikaans. In addition, they obtained a certificate in Leadership Development from Nimico Training in June 2014.
