Mike Heffernan

Mike Heffernan has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Mike most recently served as the Vice President of Accounting & Finance at World Energy, LLC starting in November 2019. Prior to this, they were the CFO at Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architects Builders from February 2018 to April 2019. Mike also worked as a Senior Manager at CFGI from January 2014 to January 2018. Before that, they held the same position at Deloitte from February 2012 to November 2013. Mike has also worked as a Director of Accounting, Financial Systems & Controls at Tropical Shipping from May 2011 to September 2011 and as a Partner at Sanford Barrows Group from January 2010 to April 2011. Mike served as the Director of Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting & Compliance at LNR Property Corporation from July 2007 to May 2009. Mike began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as a Senior Manager from January 2003 to July 2007 and from September 1992 to April 2000. In between, they worked as the Director of Financial Reporting & Administration at Ivy Funds from September 2000 to December 2002.

Mike Heffernan obtained their Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Mike attended the school from 1988 to 1992.

In July 1996, Mike Heffernan also acquired their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, Inc.
