Erin Mezgar is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and donor relations across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Development Support at World Food Program USA, Erin oversees donor acknowledgment processes and collaborates closely with philanthropy teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure timely donor care. Previously, Erin held leadership roles at Chesapeake Legal Alliance and National Park Trust, where significant achievements included executing comprehensive fundraising plans and cultivating major gifts. With a strong foundation in managing donor portfolios and implementing strategic initiatives dating back to roles at National Parks Conservation Association, The Council of Independent Colleges, and Guilford College, Erin has consistently driven donor engagement and revenue growth throughout a diverse career in the nonprofit sector. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
