Sevda Yuzbasioglu

Sevda Yuzbasioglu is an accomplished communication professional with extensive experience spanning various prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications at the World Food Programme since October 2021, Yuzbasioglu plays a pivotal role in supporting the largest humanitarian organization dedicated to food assistance and promoting peace. Prior to this, Yuzbasioglu held the position of Chief Operating Officer at OptimoreGroup and worked as an international consultant, writer, and lecturer. Yuzbasioglu co-founded GIS Consult, a communications agency, and contributed to Dunya Gazetesi and Grayling, supporting major corporations in their communication strategies. Yuzbasioglu holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Western Kentucky University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Journalism from Marmara University.
