Mayra Herrera

Mayra Herrera has a strong background in the field of accounting and auditing. Mayra started their career as an Assurance Associate at PwC in 2004 and later became a Senior Auditor at Kaufman Rossin in 2008. Their experience at World Fuel Services includes roles such as Senior Internal Auditor, Lead Internal Auditor, Manager of Internal Audit, and Director of Accounting Operations. Mayra was also the Squad Leader for Robotic Process Automation and served as the Vice President of Core Accounting. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Internal Audit/Chief Audit Executive at World Fuel Services.

Mayra Herrera obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John's University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they studied Accounting at the University of South Florida from 2001 to 2003.
