John Reade

John Reade is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in the gold investment sector. Currently serving as Senior Market Strategist at the World Gold Council since January 2017, John Reade focuses on providing insights on gold's role in managing risk for both individual and institutional investors. Previously, John Reade held the position of Senior Vice President at Paulson & Co. from January 2010 to November 2016, where John was a Global Gold Strategist. Prior roles include MD of Metals Strategy and Gold Equity Analyst at UBS, and Gold Equity Analyst at Barnard Jacobs Mellet, as well as a Mining Engineer at Gencor from October 1986 to March 1994. Educational qualifications include a degree in Mining Engineering from Imperial College London.
