Francisco Franco Pêgo is a Public Health Medical Resident at Unidade Local de Saúde de Almada/Seixal, with experience in leadership roles such as Chairperson of the Pre-World Health Assembly Organising Committee and Socio-Medical Affairs Officer for the Junior Doctors Network at the World Medical Association. Involved with the Ordem dos Médicos as a member of the Board for the Portuguese Medical Residents Council, Francisco also serves as the Portuguese Youth Delegate to the 76th World Health Assembly. Additionally, Francisco contributes to education as an invited assistant at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto and a teacher in PEDIATRISTICS at Sociedade Portuguesa de Pediatria. Previously, leadership experiences included serving as President of ANEM and coordinating various international medical student initiatives. Francisco's education includes a Master's degree in Medicine from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto and specialized training in Travel Medicine and Migration Medicine, among other international study experiences.
