Peter Fippinger

Peter Fippinger is a seasoned professional in environmental policy and sustainable development, currently serving as the Middle East Associate at the World Ocean Council since January 2024. Previously, Peter founded and managed Blue Crescent Group Limited in Abu Dhabi, focusing on advisory consulting for environmental governance and sustainability in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Peter's extensive experience includes leadership roles at NEOM, the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, and NOAA, as well as consultancy work for various organizations such as the Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund and WWF. Peter holds a Master's degree in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from North Central College.
