Stefan Wendt

Stefan Wendt is an experienced Engineer for quality planning and testing at W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE GmbH since 2004. Expertise includes verification of specifications, risk management for medical devices per ISO 14971, and developing system and test specifications. Wendt has engaged in multiple projects, such as the development of new insufflator generations and AirSeal® insufflators, leading quality planning and test engineering efforts. Prior roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Otago involved laser spectroscopy and Bose-Einstein condensation projects, focusing on device optimization and construction. Wendt holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Applied Physics with a specialization in Medical Physics from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin and possesses extensive training in physics and laboratory techniques.
