Sarah Rita Kattan

Sarah Rita Kattan serves as the Executive Director of Design For Communities (D4C) since September 2020, focusing on innovative and sustainable design projects to enhance community life. Concurrently, Sarah Kattan holds academic positions as a University Instructor in Architecture at both the American University of Beirut and Phoenicia University, where specialized coursework emphasizes public interest design and fostered engagement with local communities. With extensive experience in architectural and community projects, notable contributions include the rehabilitation of community centers post-Beirut blast and involvement in the World Organization of the Scout Movement as a Vice-Chairperson, focusing on educational methods. Sarah Kattan holds a Master of Science in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Beirut.
