Rachad Fakhouri has extensive work experience in facilities management. Rachad most recently served as the Chief of Section for Facilities Management at the World Trade Organization since February 2022. In this role, they are responsible for coordinating operations, monitoring contractors' performance, and developing preventive maintenance plans. Prior to this, they were the Deputy Chief of Section for Facilities Management at the same organization from April 2018 to February 2022.
Before joining the World Trade Organization, Rachad worked at The World Bank as a Project Manager for Corporate Real Estate from August 2013 to April 2018. Rachad also held the position of Assistant Facilities Manager at The World Bank from April 2009 to August 2013.
Earlier in their career, Rachad worked at Sama Dubai as an Industry Partnership Coordinator from June 2007 to October 2008.
Throughout their various roles, Rachad has demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills in facilities management.
Rachad Fakhouri began their education at Hariri Canadian University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering from 2003 to 2007. In 2008 to 2009, they attended Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie and earned a Masters degree in Facilities and Property Management. Fakhouri then pursued further education at The George Washington University School of Business from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's degree in Project Management. Rachad continued their studies at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne from 2014 to 2016 and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. Lastly, in 2020 to 2021, Fakhouri attended IAE Paris - Sorbonne Business School, where they earned a Diplôme Universitaire in Risk Management.
