Mariana Alfaro

Mariana Alfaro has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Mariana began their career as a V.I.P Concierge for PARADISUS PLAYA CONCHAL in 2006. In 2011, they became a Research Fellow for the Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica. In 2013, they became Co-owner of Hongos y Setas de Costa Rica, S.A. and has been a Project Manager Costa Rica for World Tree since 2016.

Mariana Alfaro obtained a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources Conservation and Research from Universidad Estatal a Distancia Costa Rica between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Biology degree with emphasis on Ecology and Sustainable Development from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica between 2001 and 2004.
