Annika Terrana

Director, Forests And Lead, Forests & Health at World Wildlife Fund

Annika Terrana has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Annika started their career as a Desk Services Staff and Supervisor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2006 to May 2009. In June 2009, they worked as a Youth Facilitator for AmeriCorps at Goodman Community Center. Annika then joined the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources as a Program Assistant from May 2009 to September 2009.

Annika later joined Forest Stewardship Council U.S. in July 2011 and served as a Membership & Project Manager until April 2012. Their responsibilities included managing the membership program, recruitment, application, and communications. Annika also coordinated logistics and communications for the FSC-US Board of Directors.

From September 2009 to August 2011, Annika worked at Organic Health Response in various roles. Annika started as an Eco-Awareness Coordinator, where they initiated and implemented community projects and organized successful events. Annika then became the Co-Director of Operations, overseeing US-based operations and partnership programs. Annika focused on strengthening administrative infrastructure, fundraising, and proposal writing.

Their most recent role, starting in September 2012, is with the World Wildlife Fund. Annika has progressed through different positions, starting as a Program Officer, then becoming a Senior Program Officer, and later a Manager in the Forests division. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Forests and Lead, Forests & Health.
