Seema Kumar has over 30 years of work experience in finance and administration. Seema currently holds the position of VP of Finance & Facilities Administration at World Wildlife Fund, a role they started in December 2018. Prior to this, Seema served as the Sr. Director of Finance and Facilities at the same company from July 2012. Seema also worked as the Director of Finance from January 2005 to June 2012 at World Wildlife Fund. Before joining World Wildlife Fund, Seema was the Director of Finance and Administration at Women, Law and Development International from September 1995 to September 2000. Their earlier experience includes working as a Business Manager at Ward Industries, Inc. from 1990 to 1995 and as an Assistant Administrative Officer at New India Assurance Company from March 1988 to November 1990.
Seema Kumar attended Model School in Rohtak, Haryana from 1978 to 1980. Following this, they studied at Mithibai College of Commerce in Mumbai from 1980 to 1981. Seema then attended Ramjas School in New Delhi in 1981 for an unspecified degree and field of study. From 1982 to 1986, they pursued a B.Com (Hons) degree in Finance, Accounting, and Economics at Jesus and Mary College in New Delhi, India. Lastly, they attended Delhi University from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained their M.Com degree in Finance and Accounting.
