Sarah Sibley

Sarah Sibley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sarah began their career as an Assistant Manager at The Painted Lady, where they were responsible for maintaining the shop's needs, providing customer service, and handling inventory. Sarah also collaborated with local merchants to implement downtown events.

Sarah then worked as an Opinions Editor at The Flat Hat, where they managed the section from recruitment to editing and layout. Sarah also served as a Student Assistant in the Sports Information Department, where they updated athlete and team profiles and conducted interviews.

Sarah's experience also includes working as an Event Coordinator and Intern at The White House Commission on Remembrance, where they coordinated international events and handled public relations. Sarah then worked as the In-Country Project Coordinator at the Moroccan Children's Trust, where they coordinated project development and communicated between UK and Moroccan teams.

Currently, Sarah is involved with WorldBoston, where they have held several positions. As the Manager of Citizen Diplomacy Programs, they oversaw all aspects of the organization's citizen diplomacy programs. Sarah later became the Director of Citizen Diplomacy Programs, overseeing new programs facilitated by government or private partners and representing the organization in the community and with national partners. Currently, they serve as the Vice President for Citizen Diplomacy, further advancing the overall mission of WorldBoston and representing the organization.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated skills in program management, team leadership, communication, event coordination, and public relations.

Sarah Sibley has a diverse education history. Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations, Middle Eastern Studies, Arabic, and French from William & Mary, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. During their time at William & Mary, they also participated in the Center for Cross-Cultural Learning, where they focused on Intensive Modern Standard Arabic, Moroccan Arabic, and Moroccan Culture.

In 2008, Sarah attended the Mediterranean Center of Arts and Sciences, where they studied Intensive Italian and the Culture & Politics of the Mafia.

Sarah continued their education by completing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Globalisation and International Development from Queen Mary University of London in 2011-2012.

In addition to their academic degrees, Sarah obtained a certification in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice in June 2022.
