Da Yang Sim

Da Yang Sim is an experienced professional in quantitative research and machine learning. Currently serving as Vice President of Quantitative Research at WorldQuant since November 2021, Da Yang has progressed through roles as a Senior Quantitative Researcher and Quantitative Researcher. Prior to this, Da Yang worked as a Technology Associate at Bank of Singapore from June 2020 to October 2021 and completed a Final Year Project on Statistical Machine Learning Models for Time Series at National University of Singapore from August 2019 to June 2020. Da Yang's internship experience includes research in cross-lingual contextual word embeddings and natural language processing algorithms at DSO National Laboratories in 2019 and 2018, respectively. Da Yang holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore, with a student exchange program completed at Imperial College London.
