Dean Kuhlmann has over 25 years of experience in business development and sales. Dean began their career in 1994 as the Director of Sales/Marketing for Document Services. During this time, they leveraged their technology background and advanced textual search analysis skills to successfully sell over $1M in services in the first year. This ultimately led to the acquisition of the company by IKON, where they served as General Manager from 1996 to 1999. In this role, they transitioned an under-performing Silicon Valley e-Discovery services branch into the top producing office in the country, growing a 35-person team to over 90 employees and delivering a 450% increase in revenue in two years. From 1999 to 2004, they served as Director of Channel Sales & Marketing at NetSolve, selling WAN/LAN and Security network management services to mid-market accounts in the US. Dean also managed the George W. Bush for President Campaign as a client, providing WAN management, firewall, and intrusion detection security services. In 2004, they joined Cataphora as Director of Business Development, providing e-Discovery expertise to clients and managing numerous large projects. Dean then moved on to RLS Legal Solutions in 2006 as National Director of e-Discovery Services, where they established consultative positions with clients regarding electronic evidence discovery, strategies, processes, and tools. In 2007, they joined Renew Data Corp. as Vice President of Business Development, where they developed an Alliance Partner Program to align ReneweData services with partner offerings. From 2012 to 2014, they were Vice President of Business Development at Xerox, providing sales strategies and solutions for clients in need of e-Discovery software. Dean then joined Brainspace Corporation in 2014 as Vice President of Business Development, where they built the sales organization from the ground-up and established 150% sales growth YOY with a focus on software license recurring revenue. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Worlds as Vice President of Business Development. At Worlds, they are completely re-inventing how organizations see and understand their physical worlds.
Dean Kuhlmann received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from St.Edward's University between 1990 and 1993. Dean also obtained a Certification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Southwest School of Electronics between 1984 and 1985.
