Daniel Castro Palomares has a long history of work experience in the IT field. Daniel started in 2009 at Ilimit Comunicacions as an IT Network Security Administrator, where they were responsible for designing, managing and diagnosing networking and perimeter security of a CPD, as well as maintaining the physical infrastructure of a CPD. In 2018, they moved to IEAISA Ingeniería, where they held the same role and was also responsible for offensive security and pentesting. In 2019, they joined SETESCA as a SysAdmin DevOps, where they were responsible for installing, configuring, managing and automating services under Centos/RHEL with Foreman and Puppet, as well as integrating Puppet from 0 for Windows systems. In 2020, they moved to Sportium Apuestas Deportivas S.A. as a DevOps Engineer, where they provided support to developers, maintained continuous integration with Gitlab and Docker Swarm, implemented Ansible AWX for service mapping, and deployed local environments for developers with Vagrant. Currently, they are employed at Worldsensing as a Site Reliability Engineer.
Daniel Castro Palomares has a long history of education. In 2007, they completed IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software at Cisco Networking Academy. From 2007 to 2009, they attended IES Nicolau Copernic and earned a degree in Explotación de sistemas informáticos. In 2012, they obtained an ITIL Foundation certification. In 2013 to 2015, they attended IES Nicolau Copernic and earned a degree in Administración de Sistemas Informáticos en red (ASIX). In 2015, they completed WatchGuard Firewall Training at Ajoomal Asociados. In 2016, they obtained a Fortinet Multi-Threat Security Systems I & II certification at Westcon Academy. In 2017, they obtained a MikroTik Certified Network Associate - MTCNA certification at Landatel Comunicaciones. In 2018, they obtained a CCNA certification at Cisco Networking Academy. Finally, in 2022, they are currently enrolled in a Scrum Master Fundamentals course.
