Jonathan P. Nichols, CPCU, AU

Jonathan P. Nichols, CPCU, AU has over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. Jonathan P. is currently the Vice President of Underwriting at WorldTrips® Travel Insurance, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, Jonathan worked at Allianz Partners for 10 years, where they held various roles. From May 2016 to July 2021, they served as the Director of Underwriting, USA, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the underwriting department and executing underwriting strategies. Before that, they were the Manager of Underwriting, USA from March 2014 to May 2016, responsible for underwriting new product lines and managing the underwriting team. Jonathan also worked as a New Product Development Underwriter from July 2011 to March 2014, contributing to the development of new products and captive programs. Prior to joining Allianz Partners, Jonathan worked at K&B Underwriters as an Underwriter from September 2008 to July 2011, and at James River Insurance Company as an Underwriter from October 2003 to September 2008.

Jonathan P. Nichols, CPCU, AU obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond, where they majored in Leadership Studies and Political Science. Jonathan P. completed this four-year program from 1999 to 2003.
