Irmgard Becker

Irmgard Becker has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the pharmaceutical industry. Irmgard currently holds the position of Director Global Technical Operations at Wörwag Pharma GmbH & Co. KG, where they are responsible for quality, technology project management, and production. Prior to this, they were the Director Global Operations at the same company, overseeing quality, global regulatory affairs, and development.

Before joining Wörwag Pharma, Becker worked as the Managing Director of Catalent Germany Schorndorf GmbH at Catalent Pharma Solutions. Irmgard also served as the Site Head TechOps Gerlingen at Sandoz, managing a packaging site for solid oral dosage forms.

In their earlier roles, Becker worked for Sandoz International GmbH as the Divisional Change Champion and Global Project Manager Quality in Execution, responsible for implementing quality and change management initiatives across manufacturing sites. Irmgard also served as the Site Head Taboao da Serra at Novartis Biosciencas S.A., where they were in charge of manufacturing, testing, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

Becker's experience at Sandoz IP GmbH includes roles such as Head Production, Head API Production, and Deputy Plant Manager Fermentation, where they focused on improving cost, efficiency, quality, and compliance in chemical synthesis and sterile API production units.

Irmgard'scareer began at Geneva Pharmaceuticals (now Sandoz) as a Project Manager, and they later worked at Sandoz (former Biochemie GmbH) as the Plant Manager Sterile Cefalosporin Crystallization.

Irmgard Becker obtained their PhD degree in Statistics and Applied Microbiology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) between 1988 and 1997.
