Giovanni Perez has a diverse work experience in the field of outreach and program coordination. Giovanni started their career in 2003 in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an infantryman until 2012. Following this, they worked as a Veterans Service Representative for AmeriCorps from December 2015 to December 2016. Giovanni then joined Volunteers of America as a Battle Buddy and Outreach Coordinator, providing outreach and support for veterans experiencing homelessness from December 2015 to February 2017. From March 2017 to October 2017, Giovanni served as the Recipient Outreach Manager for Operation Gratitude. Giovanni then became a Benefits Case Manager for Volunteers of America Los Angeles from December 2017 to November 2018. In 2018, Giovanni joined LA Family Housing as an Outreach Specialist, actively engaging with individuals experiencing homelessness until December 2019. Giovanni then assumed the position of HHP Program Supervisor for Partners in Care Foundation from December 2019 to April 2021. Most recently, they have been working as an Outreach Specialist for the Wounded Warrior Project since February 2020.
Giovanni Perez pursued their education in a chronological order, starting in 2013 at East Los Angeles College. Giovanni completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at this institution in 2018. Subsequently, from 2018 to 2020, Perez attended California State University, Northridge, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies.
