Ellen Burke, MSW, LCSW-C has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and clinical social work. Ellen started their career as a Social Work Stipend Intern at Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center in 2012. In 2013, they worked as an Emergency Department Clinical Social Worker at VCU Medical Center, where they gained experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The following year, they joined the United States Department of Defense as a Social Worker. In 2016, Ellen began working at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Clinical Social Worker in the Inpatient Psychiatry department. Ellen then transitioned to a role as a Clinical Social Worker in the Psychiatric Emergency Department in 2019. During this time, Ellen also worked as a Mental Health Specialist at Wounded Warrior Project, where they held multiple roles. As of August 2021, they are working as a Mental Health Program Manager at Wounded Warrior Project.
