Shereen Shariq has over 20 years of diverse work experience. Shereen is currently working as an Outreach Specialist at the Wounded Warrior Project, where they connect with wounded service members and their families to promote the organization's programs and services. Shereen plans events, facilitates virtual programming, and encourages alumni to connect with each other.

Prior to this, Shereen worked as a Consultant, specializing in event planning, budget management, contract negotiations, marketing, and networking. Before that, Shereen worked as a Client Liaison Manager for two companies simultaneously, where they conducted client liaison activities and delivered presentations on process enhancements.

Shereen also has experience as a Community Services Specialist at Forest City Realty Trust, where they led community services and managed events for military spouses and their families. Shereen improved efficiency by transitioning scheduling to an internally accessible shared calendar.

Furthermore, Shereen worked at Rudolph and Sletten as a Senior Training and Event Coordinator, responsible for training activities and event planning. Shereen managed the logistics for numerous events and classes and evaluated feedback for senior leadership.

Their early experience includes working as a Training Specialist at Oracle Corporation, where they coordinated logistics for training events and facilitated communication among team members and customers.

Shereen Shariq obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Environmental Sciences from The University of Alabama, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. From 1998 to 2000, they attended San Jose State University and earned a Multiple Subject Credential in Elementary Education. In 2018, Shereen enrolled in Trailhead by Salesforce, where they pursued studies in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management.

Apart from their formal education, Shereen holds additional certifications. In March 2021, they completed the "Marriage on the Rock" certification program offered by XO Marriage. In November 2018, they obtained a certification in "Social Media for Nonprofits" through LinkedIn. Shereen also has a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, although the institution from which it was obtained is unspecified.
